• PRACTICE BUDDIES are designed as technique, sound and endurance builders. These are similar to classic warm up exercises.

 

• PRACTICE BUDDIES are designed to work in conjunction with both the students band method book such as Essential Elements or Standards of Excellence, and what you the music teacher provides in music lessons.

 

• PRACTICE BUDDIES are a fun and informative guided audio MP3 play along practice lesson approximately 16 minutes of playing time.

 

• This series of play-along recordings and the matching music notes are a guided brass practice routine, similar to what I would show brass students in their regular music lessons.

 

• These practice routines are presented in a series of graduated set levels.

• Each set level is to be played over a series of weeks helping young musicians gain confidence in sound production, breathing, muscle mouth embouchure endurance and music reading.

 

• Listen and play along with the PRACTICE BUDDIES recordings and matching music notes as often as possible.

 

• Put on your headphones from your device and play along!

 

• I like to have one ear covered with the headphones to hear the recording and one ear without to hear my instrument sound

 

• Remember, the more regular your music practice sessions are, the easier and more enjoyable it will become to play music!
